President Obama raised $43.6 million for his reelection bid between his campaign and the Democratic National Committee, campaign manager Jim Messina announced in a video this morning.
That total is down from $53 million in March and closer to the February fundraising total of $45 million.
The campaign says more than 437,000 people donated in April, including more than 169,000 who were donating for the first time.
