Romney, favorito en Arizona

En el primer sondeo de la primaria republicana de Arizona que se publica después de que el estado decidiera adelantarla a febrero.

Mitt Romney still tops the Republican presidential primary field in Arizona, despite Rick Perry’s surge in a number of national and early-state polls.

A Summit Consulting Group (R) survey released Wednesday shows Romney leading Perry by six percentage points, 31 percent to 25 percent. All other candidates polled in the low single digits.

(...) The results led Summit to conclude that the race in Arizona quickly has narrowed to Romney and Perry.

Summit polled 600 likely Republican voters statewide on Sept. 19-20, and the margin of error was four percentage points.
