The State Column:
GOP candidate and Texas Representative Ron Paul hauled in more than $1 million during his Constitution Day “money bomb.” Paul’s one-day fundraising effort on Saturday, September 17, adds to the candidate’s long list of successful online fundraising campaigns. On August 20, 2011, Paul raised more than $1.8 million during his birthday “money bomb.”
Paul’s Constitution Day “money bomb” is the fifth time that the GOP candidate has broken the $1 million mark during one-day online fundraisers. Paul’s online fundraisers have been successful, because of small individual donations.
