Huckabee en Israel

El Gobernador Mike Huckabee ha publicado en su twitter esta foto de su encuentro con el Primer Ministro israelí Benjamin Netanyahu. También ha estado presente el actor Jon Voight.

Jerusalem Post recoge algunas de las declaraciones hechas por Huckabee en Israel:

(...) "Any threat to Israel is a very real threat to the United States. And one of the reasons I come here is because I want to be an ambassador in my own country, to help explain that our solidarity with Israel is not merely organizational, but it is organic, and that we cannot afford to allow Israel to be threatened."

(...) "in many ways, it's probably appropriate that the weather was acting against us, because there is no doubt that many forces acted against the Jewish people in returning to their homeland, the place that God gave them."

"It is inconceivable in many ways that we would have to even argue and debate whether or not Israelis could live in Israel, not just in parts of Israel but anywhere in Israel they wished to live. I cannot imagine as an American being told that I could not live in certain places in America because I was Christian, or because I was white, or because I spoke English. I would be outraged if someone told me that in my country, I would be prohibited and forbidden to live in a part of that country, for any reason."
