El comité de acción política de Jon Huntsman ha empezado a contratar más personal con experiencia en campañas electorales. Las últimas incorporaciones son dos asesores de comunicación que trabajaron para McCain. Lo cuenta Mike Allen:
(...) The Huntsman presidential campaign-in-waiting is staffing up, with two hires already on the payroll. Jon Huntsman, the U.S. ambassador to China and former Utah governor, has said he’ll leave the administration on April 30. But his advisers are already staffing Horizon PAC, which will build the infrastructure for a campaign. Some, but not all, of Horizon’s staff will join a Huntsman campaign if it happens. The first two hires (both McCain veterans) are “communications advisers,” with specific titles TBD:
--Tim Miller, 29, was a Glover Park Group director of public affairs for the past two years, and was lead digital strategist. In ’07, Miller was Iowa comms director for McCain. Twitter: @timodc
--Jake Suski, 27, was adviser and spokesman for Chris Dudley’s campaign for Oregon governor; deputy comms director for Gov. Schwarzenegger; and comms director for Rick Snyder primary race for Michigan governor. Suski (a Matt David guy!) worked for Terry Nelson and was a regional finance director for the McCain primary campaign. He’s in Portland for a few more weeks, then back to Cally for a bit.
