Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum raised more than $1 million since finishing second in Tuesday night's Iowa caucuses, a source close to the campaign said.
(...) In the week before the caucuses, Santorum's campaign raised more money than in the past six months of online fundraising, a senior Santorum adviser told CNN.
The new-found cash helped the campaign air advertising in the days before Iowa's contest, and presumably would support buys in New Hampshire, which votes Tuesday, and in South Carolina, which votes later in January.
The campaign also has seven staff members in New Hampshire and said dozens of out-of-state supporters were paying their own way to New Hampshire for the final push.
